Custom Executive Desk for the Woman Who Does It All!

 This beautiful cottage style executive desk is perfect for the work-from-home woman. It's rustic custom finish will be a beautiful addition to any home office or craft room. Its sturdy, solid wood construction ensures that it will stand the test of time AND toddlers! It has a lower cabinet for either CPU or sewing machine storage. The cabinet has been lined with an exquisite baroque print paper and coated with clear poly for added durability. The lower drawers have also been lined and coated to match the cabinet. The upper drawers are lined in a black velveteen fabric that is original to the desk. The sliding keyboard shelf has been antiqued in black and cream. The large desk top is perfect for sewing project, so no more scratching up the dining room table while trying to finish curtains for the bedroom! The elegant drawer pulls are antique brass and the crystals have a slight green tint to them, a subtle reminder that no detail has been overlooked with this desk. The lower portion of the desk was finished with a clear satin poly for added protection from every day wear and tear, while the desk top was given a triple thick, ultra hard protectant. No amount of scissors, nor sharpies, nor flying three-year-old boys will damage this desk top!

Cross Stitch on Canvas Wall Art

Now that I've adjusted (kind of) to Belle's crazy softball schedule, I managed to complete a project I've been wanting to do ever since I saw a picture on Pinterest a few months ago. I absolutely love the texture and dimension of this piece! It measures 24" x 36" and would be perfect on a mantle or over a headboard. The background is a blended three color acrylic that really softens the straight lines of the cross stitched anchor. This is my first one, but would gladly do another if requested : ) It's sure to be a conversation piece in your home or business!

It has a 24"x20" lighted area and can rest on a chest of drawers (or in our case, a piano) or can be hung on the wall. Felt pads ensure a scratch free surface. "Lose My Mind" Canvas Wall Art

In my 11 years of being a mother, I've come to realize that my greatest asset is my sense of humor. This piece was inspired by yesterday. I was woken up at 5:30 by the sprinkler system, then at 9, just as I was motivating everyone to get ready for church, Chris' pager went off and he was summoned to work. For the third Sunday in a row. After he left, the puppy let us all know that she was experiencing "digestive issues" (for lack of a more delicate word), my three year old shoveled the dirt out of a planter onto my rug, and my ten year old stabbed herself with a sewing needle while practicing quilting which resulted in a shower of tears and a new appreciation for thimbles. These are the days I thank God for blessing me with the ability to laugh at days like yesterday, and also for the guiding me to find inspiration in even the craziest of mornings.
